Our "Winter" challenge was born from one of the toughest bikepacking challenges in the Baltic region: Hydra. It ain’t just another event - it’s the third one in the Epas series, merely designed for you to test your resilience and escape the comforts in winter’s rawest conditions. It won’t be easy - sharp breeze, snowy landscapes, and the ever-going mental battle inside you. Nowadays, the weather is as unpredictable as ever. We may face snow up to our knees, or perhaps luck will grant us, and it’ll be an easy autumn-like ride. Regardless, expect to battle the chill. Are you up for it? You might be all alone with your gear, your bike, 300km ahead, and the drive within you. Each kilometer will challenge both body and mind. It’ll press you to find strength you didn’t know you had. It’s a Winter experience you’ll remember for a very long time. It’ll toughen you up for the future challenges you’ll face.
The route
The route is about 300 km long, goes through Tartu marathon track, then goes to Latvia, around 100 km there and back to finish.

Money return, cancellation, passing your participation
Participants can cancel participation until 31st of December, 2024, getting back 50% of their start fee.
There is no option to pass participation to other participant.
